On the evening of Oct. 16, 2026, the spooky season was in full swing. This year’s theme was The Nightmare Before Fall Fest, which is inspired by the Nightmare Before Christmas. This unique theme helped bring the community together to celebrate the spooky season.

“It’s just really fun to see the community come out, and then also just to see students having a great time,” said Tara Usrey, the sponsor for the Roller Skate club at Argo.

Despite the rain, the community still enjoyed the Fall Fest train rides, a petting zoo and many more activities.

“We’re having a little bit of weather issues this year. But there are a lot of cool stuff that [were] added to Fall Fest this year,” said Lisa Garrett, the photography teacher at Argo.

Fall Fest also gave students the opportunity to support the community.

“I just really wanted to pitch in for the community and help out. It was super-duper fun,” said Elizabeth Lacey, an Argo student who was helping with the Music Honor Society table.
