Two fellow Argonauts, Ally Coker and Josselyn Raudalez, have been selected to be Skills USA state officers. Skills USA is a United States and technical organization that teaches leadership and workplace skills. Being a Skills USA officer includes managing, organizing, and leading events on the state level.
Recently Josselyn and Ally attended a leadership training institute in Washington DC where they got to go to places such as the Washington capital, national mall, and a helicopter ride.
Before this, they competed in the Skills USA state competition in Peoria. Ally competed in welding and Josselyn competed in graphic design.
‘’I’ve had so many opportunities that would not have been possible without Skills USA,” Coker said. ‘’One of my favorite things about Skills USA is meeting so many other talented and professional officers that have become my friends.”
