Girls Volleyball to Host Charity Match Tonight

The Girls Volleyball Teams show off their support for breast cancer awareness.

Argo Community High School Girls Volleyball will host Eisenhower for a Volley for the Cure match to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a charity committed to investing in research and treatment for breast cancer.

On Thursday, September 28th the Freshman and Sophomore teams will play at 4:30pm in the Frank Stout Field House and in the Swanson Gym, respectively. The Varsity team will follow the Sophomore team in the Swanson Gym and are schedule to start at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $3.00 and all proceeds will go to the foundation.

In preparation for the Volley for the Cure match, the Girls Volleyball teams have also been selling shirts to raise money. Over the last two weeks, the teams have sold over 200 shirts, with all profits also going to the foundation.
