October 17, 2020
On October 13th, 2020, Apple announced the newest lineup of iPhones. The iPhone 12s will come in a variety of colors and feature powerful cameras and vibrant displays. It will be available on October 23rd. The iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on November 6th and in stores starting Friday, November 13th.
The iPhone 12 comes in 4 options: 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. The basic model, the iPhone 12, starts at $799, with the Mini going for $699. The iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will start at $999 and $1099, respectively. All four models will be 5G-enabled; however, only the Pro and Pro Max will include pro-level camera features and a high-end design.
The iPhone 12 Mini is, as the name suggests, smaller than the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 has a screen size of 6.1 inches, and by comparison, the iPhone 12 Mini has a screen size of 5.4 inches. Other than screen size, the iPhone 12 and Mini have no significant differences.
On the other hand, the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are almost identical. They share the same screen size and 5G capabilities but the 12 Pro includes the pro-level camera with LiDAR capabilities. The Pro Max has an even larger screen size of 6.7 inches, but it includes the same capabilities as the 12 Pro. The iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max have a base storage of 128GB, whereas the iPhone 12 has a base storage capacity of 64GB.
