Digital Video Art is a class that you may take in high school as an extracurricular. It teaches you the basics of editing, publishing, marketing, and promoting your own videos.
We interviewed Seema Dirbas, a freshman taking the class.

What do you think about the class Digital video and who would you recommend it to?
I think it’s very interesting and good for creative people.
What do you learn in this class?
We learn things like how to use editing tools and how to use professional cameras.
Do you think it’s a useful class?
Yes, because it’s a class that you can benefit from.
How can you benefit from it?
You can use it in different ways like making YouTube videos, TikTok’s, promoting a company or yourself, etc.
Do you have a lot of classmates?
Unfortunately, not a lot of people enroll in this class.
Why would that be a problem?
It’s a problem because the school will shut it down if it doesn’t get enough people.

What do you think about Digital Video being a class?
I think its an underrated class.
Why do you consider it to be underrated?
Most students take Art or Spanish because not enough people think that Digital Video is a class that would help them.
How could it benefit someone?
It doesn’t just give you credits for graduating, but it is a fun class that could help you achieve money someday. Like becoming a vlogger or a professional photographer. And it also boosts your social life.
